Social Capital
An important role of each stakeholder group member will be to evaluate the potential impact the economic outcomes will have on all stakeholder interests.
SOCIAL CAPITAL STAKEHOLDER GROUP
Refers to membership in groups and connections within a community; how people relate and interact with one another. Social Capital focuses on:
1.) Promoting community “civicness” and community empowerment
2.) Providing effective and representative local governance
3.) Developing strong private and public organizations
4.) Building social capacity, such as increasing collaboration and partnerships
5.) Participatory planning
6.) Increasing access to and dissemination of information
