Ulster County's Partners

Ulster County's government, education, business and civic leaders are a tremendous resource for the development of our region.Working together, our leadership guides business growth, increases citizen participation in civic and community issues, readies employees for the regional workforce and helps train the next generation of leaders.

Commitment to the development of new community leaders is a central part of the Ulster County mission. One program that expands our base of skilled and informed leaders is the Ulster County Leadership Development Institute. A program of the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County, the UCLDI educates future leaders on the community, local and state government, law enforcement, the arts and culture and community development. Each year upon graduation, participants are prepared to serve on tlocal boards and within community organizations.
