As Ulster County's lead economic development agency, the mission of the Ulster County Development Corporation is to act as a catalyst for creating wealth, improving the quality of life and fostering economic opportunity for Ulster County located in New York's Hudson River Valley.

We are committed to working side-by-side with new and existing businesses, communities, and municipal leaders to promote entrepreneurship and business growth, expanding employment, and adding value to our quality of living.

With just one call to the Ulster County Development Corporation you have access to a wide range of state, regional, and local partners, offering integrated services to assist in all facets of your business.

With the support of the Ulster County Development Corporation and the Ulster County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), communities are bolstering their existing business assets. Through a combination of grants and loans, Ulster's communities are creating “shovel-ready” commercial and manufacturing sites, building out the basic infrastructure needed to support development, and improving the high-speed Internet access to promote telecommuting, distance learning and electronic commerce.

Entrepreneurs as well as small to medium-sized businesses can access low-cost financing through county loan funds that can make their dream a reality. Manufacturers can finance their expansion needs with tax-free bonds issued through the IDA.

The Ulster County Development Corporation's one-stop approach to business and economic development offers businesses personalized site selection consultation, community liaison, conduits to public and private capital, and a committed development partner.
